Jump to Overview 1 Biography 1 Edit. Ashley Cowie is a Scottish Author, Adventurer, Photographer and broadcaster on an international stage. In his 20's he delivered a series of highly acclaimed lectures on the International Science Festival Circuit and wrote several books about his historical discoveries. Elected into the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, incorporated by Royal Charter inAshley has been involved in several research projects, details of which can be found on the Science Festival page.

Having a unique insight into the inner workings of bizarre sub-cultures, religions and secret societies, in NBC's hit adventure show Legend Quest followed Ashley's global hunt for lost artefacts and scared relics taking him into the most dangerous and forbidden places on earth. Being a type 1 diabetic Ashley's no-fear approach to extreme challenges and environments offers inspiration to others suffering this condition.

Cowie began presenting his work in up-beat lectures at the International Science Festival in Orkney where his lecture entitled The Rope Age received a standing ovation from over of the world's most acclaimed professors of archaeology. After this lecture, Cowie was elected as a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and his work was featured in several Scotsman newspaper features.

Between andCowie was privately commissioned to conduct research projects at various historic locations and during this time his discoveries in the architecture and symbols of Rosslyn Chapel were published in the best selling "The Book of Hiram", where he is credited for having discovered one of the earliest mapping systems known to date.
