It could've been really moving; it wasn't. I sense a great book, a classic, shifting just below its surface, but in order to become that book I think it would have to go back in time and have some major revision done before getting published. But I'll probably keep it anyway, since it cost a dollar and still has some nice descriptions of Africa.
